The analysis identified two areas which showed a recurring pattern of reporting in support of the established status quo of Israel as a victim of the Palestinian "terrorist" organization Hamas: 1. Palestine as the instigator, Israel as the defender to the conflict; 2. Israeli casualties described as terrorist attacks while Palestinian deaths referred to as accidents. The third area of analysis looks at homogenization of the states. The findings suggest that the specific choices of lexical labeling and the use of lexical tools, such as hyperboles and ellipses, help in the establishment of bias within news reports, which favors the Israeli rationale and dismisses the Palestinian standpoint.
